Anybody have any nostalgic moments at the time when Lego Universe was alive, because I sure do. Every day I’d come home from school on a bus, now this bus has a radio that played cheesy pop music, when I got home I played Lego Universe and now those songs are quite nostalgic to me.
i loved lego universe so much when it shut down i cried for a week now im nostalgic about all those times i played. i feel u.
Have to agree. One of the best if not the best game I’ve ever played. It will be back soon, we’ll be reunited, we’ll show the maelstrom we’re back for a round 2
This game was so awesome. Hearing the soundtrack still makes me tear up a little. I regret that I didn’t play it as much when it was out.
My most nostalgic moment is when it shut down. I cheered and danced on LU’s grave and ate the flowers left at the grave.
It didn’t have flowers, only bricks…
Playing with friends each day in a group, that was my most nostalgic moment, it felt so comfortable.
I used to listen to Usher and Jason Derulo back then. So when I hear their songs nowadays I get nostalgic kicks everytime. ^^
@joni2012 Yep Usher and Jason Derulo were blasting out that radio. Gotta say that nostalgic kit hits me harder with rihanna though.
my nostalgia is in a very, VERY strange place… Destiny. Pretty much its a FPS game where you can join factions, rank up in said factions and fight minions of the Darkness. See the connection?
Honestly, that’s how I found LUNI. Funnily enough, the idea came to me in a dream; I remember a part where I was like “omg, someone rebooted Lego Universe!” the same that TTR was a reboot of TTO. That dream gave me the idea to look for a Lego Universe reboot, and that’s how I found LUNI.
I remember getting Lego Universe in the disc version. I think it was a Christmas present when I was about, oh, 8-9 years old? I played the hell out of it. I was a Sentinel back in the day XP. In the same way I loved Toontown Online, Lego Universe was in the same place in my heart, where I kept the treasured MMO games which were shut down. I can pick up vague memories of going through Gnarled Forest and Forbidden Valley, the latter where I found out that LU was going to be shut down. In response, I sent a report basically saying “please don’t shut down Lego Universe”.
That was about 4 years ago. Over that time, secondary school happened and I found TTR. What I’m saying is, well, a) I’m not necroing this post if it’s where you can jot down your nostalgia, and b) I want to thank everyone here for working so hard on bringing back LU, and encourage you to keep working.
I feel it in my feet everyday.
every day id get on and play LU in the morning and after school i loved the music to that makes me sad sort of, im not as sad tho now cuz i know DLU will be up this year
