Me and my son Mason sent a email to Lego Universe and about the possibility of it coming back as a offline version with server support. They replied two times however we are clueless to how to post the screen shot into this forum so could anyone tell us?
Upload it to something like imgur or tinypic then post the links. Interested to see what LEGOs reply was.
These emails are promising, super glad you came here about it. Someone posted a response like this a while ago too. My concern however is if hope is given, customer support is spammed with “Please get the development and web teams to bring back LEGO Universe” or other, they get sick of it, and then they start discouraging the idea to try to water it down, and then we are back to square one.
Just take note that on the LMBs, WhiteAlligator (the community manager) has repeatedly said that regardless what CS says, LU isn’t coming back.
@knightoffaith Though this is rather contradictory wouldn’t a person in customer service be more in sync with the the company rather someone who moderates a kids forum?
What HAC says is pretty reasonable, I mean, they probably are thinking a little bit about LEGO Universe, and I am pretty sure they aren’t making that much money with their new MMO, LEGO Minifigures Online.
It would clear up the problem of the “detector” that was supposedly giving them problems. If they wanted to bring MP back I think they could even do Minecraft style servers and not take responsibility for anything made on those servers.
They’re not going to do Minecraft-style servers and not take responsibility for them. That goes against their policies and would degrade the public opinion of the red LEGO logo that parents everywhere put their trust in.
Just an idea. I see where you are coming from.
