Hey guys I was looking through the timtech comment section (Like I always do) and I saw recently (a few months ago) Xiphoseer said that an old client would be good or devs to research. I had my client I never played LU at the last november, december, and january. maybe you can look a my client. I think it is version 1.10.63 Idk. can you tell me how to check it.
Also FYI its a mac client.
How large is it?
It depends on the size of your client, because we’d need the full client (I think). If you can get to the login screen it should say the client version at the bottom, or it should be in one of the .txt files as well.
I also have an older version of LU. Was hanging around on my grandparent’s old xp computer. Found it still on there and copied it to my usb. Hasn’t been touched since November 6, 2010.
Edit: Version is 1.0.8.0

I do believe we could use that @PacMania67 please right-click and tell me how large it is so I can determine how you can upload it.
It’s 8.98 GB.
That sounds like it’s full or close to it, however you will need an FTP client (I recommend FileZilla) to upload the files. Or, if you prefer, you could always put it on a thumb drive and pay $2.50 to mail it to me if you live in the United States.
If you want to do FTP you can email me at timothy (at symbol) timtechsoftware.com
for details to your account that you can enter in FileZilla. If you do this method then you may wish to put it in a .zip file for a quicker upload (however, this is not required). And if you want to mail it to me, then email me first for the details. If you’d like, I’ll pay for the return of your thumb drive of SD card if you do it this way.
When I get it I can upload it to the Internet or give it to the developers for analysis. The important thing for now is just to get it to me, through uploading it or through mail. Let me know your choice here or email me in the email address I posted above.
Also make sure you’re copying the whole LEGO Universe folder and not just the client folder within.
Good news! It’s up on Google Drive for now.
2010? That would be interesting to see. Considering Crux Prime and Nexus Tower hadn’t even been added yet at that time.
Can you post a link to google drive here?
Thanks, @PacMania67 – I will add your client to the downloads page once I upload it (I’m currently uploading the blastclient, so it may be a few days).
So what does this mean for lu?
Not really much yet. We are going to have a look at the client and maybe find some interesting informations. Maybe also not.
As long as you hope, you can.
