When you create a character, there is window telling you to choose a name. The bar at the top can be used to type in a name that you choose, e.g. “MyCharacter”. Below are three columns of Words that you can mix and match to create a temporary name. Afaik, the temporary name is ignored at the moment, so I guess you NEED to type in a custom name to create the character.
