Okay so I downloaded the latest Nexus 2 client (game version 1.10.64.1), I also am running the Luni server version 0.5.1 in the background. I think its an issue with the server the client is connected to but how do I change it so it would be my local server? The entire interface language is not English so I can’t really tell what the error message is when I sign in.
Hey Beeman,
What have you tried so far? Did you take a look at the “boot.cfg” file as suggested here? There is a entry in that file that reads LOCALE=0:en_US
or similar. If it doesnt look exactly the same then you have to adjust it so it supports your preferred language.
Next up you need to setup the authentication IP as described in the link above. Set it to localhost (127.0.0.1) and you should be able to connect. Are you also sure the server is booting up properly? What’s the content of the server logs?
Sorry about that, I should have replied saying I figured out where to go when changing the server ip. However, my language setting is set to en_US right now, what code would stand for English since I assumed that would.
Apologies again, found the problem. It was set to English in the boot.cfg file but not the default boot file.
en_US
or en_GB
are valid entries for English. You can follow this tutorial to change the language:
