Thanks for sharing your solution, @viklo2. I’m glad that you were finally able to get 0.8 up and running.

Después, debe controlar el idioma de su cliente utilizando el LUTranslator.
TimtechAdministratorI think he is @happyangrycatfish
TimtechAdministratorPerhaps your in-game account is not administrator/Mythran? You should be able to change account statuses through the Web CMS if I remember correctly.
TimtechAdministratorThanks for your positivity everyone (and to @averysumner for pointing out my mistake). To answer your second question, @XJAGYT, I will open up a page for LUNI veterans at TimTechSoftware.com (where LUNI used to be hosted) where you will be able to talk through the comments section, just like in the old days. It wouldn’t have to be restricted to LUNI, so you could also talk about DLU or even topics completely unrelated to LU. I just think it would be a nice way to wind down and still maintain what’s left of the community.
TimtechAdministratorThe macro definition of snprintf was changed with Visual Studio 14. I recommend downloading and using Visual Studio Express 2013 for Desktop instead.
TimtechAdministratorFeel free to leave replies to this topic, and for those who are wondering, I will be reopening a page on TimTechSoftware.com as a sort of LUNI veteran chat. It will not be for providing support, but more focused on discussing old memories and such. I suppose LEGO King will get his final wish after all… 🙂
Februar 21, 2017 um 7:30 pm Uhr als Antwort auf: User has 2 number of special itemschar 1 doesn't exist yet #7338TimtechAdministratorOne of the most recent posts is describing the same issue – https://luniserver.com/topic/help-8/
If you need further help, please reply to the above thread. Closing this one.
TimtechAdministrator@Revise I never sent them an e-mail to begin with. This is a screenshot of the mail I received:

P.S. We never „acquired rights“ to use the LEGO trademark, only reminded of regular LEGO trademark policy and given a specific disclaimer to mention. No source code or anything like that.
TimtechAdministratorI think that just means that itemsChar 1 hasn’t been implemented in the server yet. This is a normal message for 0.6 and it doesn’t appear anymore in the new 0.8 series. If you managed to get SQL running, you could probably understand the process to run the 0.8 code (Jonny’s final source) as well: https://github.com/Timtech/UniverseServer
TimtechAdministratorI recommend torrenting the Nexus2 client for optimal results. The BlastClient is fine too but I’m not as familiar so I’d say try the Nexus2 client to see if it works for you.
TimtechAdministratorLo siento por la respuesta tardía … ¿Puedo ayudarte a configurar un servidor LUNI en español si quieres?
TimtechAdministratorAlright, thanks! You can e-mail me at timothy @ timtechsoftware.com or simply reply with a link to the file here. If you do e-mail, I’d appreciate if you could also post here so I know when you sent it. Sometimes I go for a while without checking that e-mail address, plus is receives a lot of mail.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will help you 🙂
Januar 24, 2017 um 5:49 pm Uhr als Antwort auf: Any way to change what the characters are wearing? #7284TimtechAdministratorGood question. The 0.5 version is lightweight but very outdated. It is capable of and generally only used to explore the worlds. So, that is not possible, sorry. For equipping different items to the characters, you’d want to use the latest server version (0.8), which you can find on GitHub, or try a public server (although none are up right now).
TimtechAdministratorNo, there was another post. Should have mentioned that to avoid the confusion @xyquadrat
