Hi @meesja! Currently, LU Translator has a robot-translated version of Dutch. If you use the LU Translator, you will be able to see its translations in your client\locale\locale.xml. Look for the fields with locale nl_NL. Most likely, many of them will be off or wrong. If you want to correct them by hand, you could give me an updated version which all Dutch players would definitely appreciate.
TimtechAdministratorPlease try to keep DLU-only posts in the DLU subforum. If you include DLU in your post that is fine, but if that is the only focus I’d recommend its dedicated subforum. Thanks!
TimtechAdministratorI understand 🙂 I just wanted to thank you for the great job you are doing.
TimtechAdministratorHi @bosstronpie, thanks for showing interest in our website. I understand that you were IP banned and it’s obvious from the logs that you tried to bypass the ban multiple times. Also, it’s disconcerting to see you pose as a new user. Usually, people will trust you more if you are honest from the start. Still, I’m far from hating you, and I think everyone deserves a second chance. (Especially me, back in the old days of this project for anyone that remembers).
So, with that in mind, your regular/old IP has been unbanned, with the hope that you will show us respect by following the site and forum rules. Keep in mind that if I observe similar behavior from you in the future, or if the moderators see you behaving badly off-site, we may be forced to consider much harsher punishments.
P.S. Thank you for addressing this situation @kittyjumpyphone. I know that this site is on the decline due to the rise of DLU, and I really appreciate what you’ve done as a moderator. Thank you for everything you do. I typically only check in on this site once or twice a day, but I have the peace of mind knowing that you and the other mods are here to handle anything that happens.
TimtechAdministratorAlright, I will remove your server from the widget. I hope you the best with DLU, and maybe you can use your old server infrastructure to improve what they already have.
TimtechAdministratorLooks cool, but remember Super Sticky is on all forums. Good for rules and stuff. Sticky is better for subforum-specific topics.
TimtechAdministratorThank you 🙂
TimtechAdministratorNo updates to LUNI are planned. I wouldn’t wait for anything new to come out.
TimtechAdministratorAlright, what server are you trying to connect to, and have you put its IP in the AUTHSERVER field in boot.cfg so it looks something like
AUTHSERVERIP=0:lu.jonnyvps.de,
with the IP being of the server (IP like 123.45.67.89 is fine).TimtechAdministratorHow did you download the nexus2 client and what is the file size of the file(s) you downloaded? And most importantly, did you extract the .zip file before starting the .exe? This sounds like it should be an easy fix, either corrupted or not extracted correctly. Hopefully I can help.
TimtechAdministratorStrange, still doesn’t seem to work. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Anyway, don’t worry about it, there is no rush. Just wanted to see how you changed the locale fonts.
TimtechAdministratorIon Universe has been closed by the owners. The only public servers that are being hosted (whether they are online or not) will appear in the „Public Servers“ status checker at the bottom of the page.
I recommend you try Jonny’s Server if you’re having trouble with LUR.
TimtechAdministratorI think the old LUNI General discord is long gone, but I can’t be sure because I left.
TimtechAdministratorHmm, it seems that I’m unable to connect to your server right now. That’s not a huge deal, though, but I’m assuming that you only had to change the locale.xml and not add or change the actual game fonts? (Because that’s the only thing that the LU Translator script will update). Maybe you could upload it to pastebin or something.
TimtechAdministratorGlad to hear that, Jonny!
I had similar thinking when I set up the locale.xml but I don’t exactly understand what you did when you messed with the font libs. Could you explain what you changed in locale.xml or in the files in order to set everything up properly? That way I can update LU Translator for all the people that use it.
Thanks, and I’m looking forward to JALUP 🙂
