TimtechAdministratorOpen „boot“ in the \client folder (or „boot.cfg“ if you have file extensions shown). If you want to play on a local server, download a server like 0.5.1 and extract all of the files before starting „LUNI Server.exe“. If you want to play on a public server, connect to the web interface, for example http://5.230.147.129/ for Jonny’s server, and register an account. Now with the boot file you opened, edit
AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,
if you want to connect to a local server orAUTHSERVERIP=0:(public server's IP),
for connecting to a public server (for Jonny’s server,AUTHSERVERIP=0:5.230.147.129
). After this is done, all you have to do to play is run „legouniverse.exe“ in the client folder.TimtechAdministratorEgmo instead of bumping this thread, how about you tell me what you want to add to the public servers page (https://luniserver.com/info/public-servers/) and we will have that instead.
TimtechAdministratorYes, luniserver.com is really just the community from my other site timtechsoftware.com, made to look more official. There has never been constant development; in fact, there were many months where nothing new was developed on the server. But it’s nice to help people with LU and see what other things people make.
TimtechAdministratorTry running the server as administrator (right-click > Run As Administrator). Also re-download and try a fresh copy of the server.
If the problem persists, open Command Prompt as administrator (run as administrator), type in
chkdsk c: /f /r
, and press Enter. Then, next time you restart, your hard drive will be scanned for errors and the problem should be fixed.TimtechAdministratorHave you tried both vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe from the link above?
TimtechAdministratorRe-download and re-install the C++ redistributables. If that doesn’t work, I have other things you could try, but this is the best solution.
TimtechAdministratorBasically follow the instructions @WheresMyMailbox gave you. You’ll be doing the opposite of what you see in this YouTube tutorial, changing the
LOCALE=0:de_DE
toLOCALE=0:en_US
TimtechAdministratorWhat is the size of the nexus2 client you have, and how did you download it? (Firefox, Chrome, Torrent, etc.) You can check the file by right-clicking the client folder or .zip file and selecting „Properties“.
TimtechAdministratorTimtechAdministratorYou can put anything as the username and password only if you are connecting to a LUNI Server of version 0.5.1 or below.
TimtechAdministratorWhat size is the .zip file you downloaded? It is probably corrupted. Either try to download Nexus2 again with a different browser or use a torrent client like qBittorrent.
TimtechAdministratorCool
TimtechAdministratorAdded to public servers widget 🙂
TimtechAdministratorBut why won’t you release what you have, once it is ready, to the public?
