    It sounds like you have already downloaded the client and were just running the old launcher instead of client\legouniverse.exe. Make sure to let us know if you were able to connect to the server.

    The official LEGO Universe accounts were closed from public access along with the game in general. Although it was possible to emulate the server, it is obviously not possible to integrate the LUNI server with the old LEGO accounts.

    However, you can still use a command like /gmadditem or something similar to that to give yourself items on the 0.8 type of servers (try it on a public server).

    @tech_m Instead of using the patcher through your VM, you should simply use a plain text editor (such as TextEdit) to edit the file called „boot“ (or „boot.cfg“ if you don’t have file extensions hidden). It’s located in the „client“ folder. Just change LOCALE=0:de_DE, to LOCALE=0:en_US for American English.

    Unpinned this topic. From now on, mods should still feel free to delete individual posts if necessary, but avoid deleting entire topics without posting in the mod forum first. Deleting topics and posts by clicking the „Spam“ button (not „Trash“), closing entire topics, and closing resolved questions to move them to the resolved subforum are still perfectly acceptable actions.

    Great job on figuring this out, guys! Just make sure to post future questions regarding Jonny’s server on the forums he set up specifically for his server. You can access them after creating an account and logging in at http://lu.jonnyvps.de

    Due to abuse and heavy traffic, you can no longer download nexus2.zip directly from this site. Currently, your only option to download Nexus 2 is through a torrent. (I removed the link from the English downloads page but forgot to remove it from the German and Spanish pages).

    No se puede descargar nexus2.zip directamente desde este sitio. La única opción para descargar Nexus 2 es a través de un torrente. (Me olvidé de tomar el enlace salido de las páginas alemanas y españolas).

    Server version 0.5.1 is very limited. For the best experience currently available, try out Jonny’s public server. You can find a link at the bottom of the page.

    Hi @Eastern_Sheriff, we don’t currently have Polish machine-translated. This means if you want to translate it yourself all by hand (which will take a very, very, very long time) you could, or we could get it machine-translated, but that costs money… if you’re still up for the job or have further questions about translating to Polish, email me at timothy@timtechsoftware.com.

    Hey Zach! What exactly do you mean by LUO? Perhaps you meant LMO? LEGO Minifigures Online was a completely separate game that came after LEGO Universe. If you’re referring to LEGO Universe itself, the LUNI server is basically a tool to let you roam the worlds. However, with version 0.8, which the public servers are based on, features such as multiplayer, items, travel, chat, and some NPC progress have been implemented. Since you mentioned you don’t have a PC capable of accessing the game, you can always look for videos demonstrating LU public servers online.

    @kee225 If you’d like, I can make a subforum here for your server, where people can ask questions and you could pin a help page to save you the trouble of doing so on your own site.

    @TheJayGaming
    First, to play LEGO Universe on any server, you have to download the client (I recommend Nexus 2) from the downloads page on this site and extract the files. To run the game, you’ll have to execute client\legouniverse.exe. But don’t do that yet, because you have to configure a few things first in a file called „boot“ in your „client“ folder. It may show up as boot.cfg if you don’t have file extensions hidden.

    Once you’ve downloaded the client, there are two types of servers you can connect to. First, there are locally-hosted servers, which are typically run by yourself on your own computer in order to test the game or play in singleplayer(-ish) mode. If you run your own server (I recommend 0.5.1 if you’re new), you should edit boot.cfg so that AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost, in order to connect once your server is running. Also, there are a few public servers available, which are hosted by other people but offer free registration to everyone.

    To connect to a public server, you should first choose one that is online. To do so, scroll to the bottom of this page, or any page on this site, and look at the list of Public Servers. Click on any server that is currently online to get redirected to its site, where you can sign up. Once you’ve signed up, make sure to edit boot.cfg so that AUTHSERVERIP=0:(their IP address),. Just so you know, the IP address can be a domain name, so for Project Pluto, you could type AUTHSERVERIP=0:kee225.com,.

    As a side note, if you want to play in English, make sure in boot.cfg that LOCALE=en_US,. Other default locales include en_GB for British English and de_DE for German. With the LU Translator, you can add another eight languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Malay, and Filipino), but that is a separate process, and those languages are not included by default.

    Now that you’ve configured everything in boot.cfg, you can run client\legouniverse.exe to connect to the server. Make sure to log in with the same username and password that you signed up with. For locally hosted servers of version 0.5.1 and below, you can use any username and password to authenticate. For public servers, make sure that you’ve signed up and that the server is online when you try to connect.

    I’m not sure how to help with the password problem. Maybe you’re mixing two different hashing methods or something. And yes, I meant UniverseLauncher-Master for the web interface.
