I don’t think the launcher needs much improvement, it looks quite nice and has everything needed.
If you want to learn C++, go ahead. You need to consider that this is a really big and complex language. As well, in the newer server versions, MySQL is used, so basic understanding of that is good. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.As long as you hope, you can.

No, you don’t need to throw away your LU client when a update comes out. Thanks to public servers you don’t need to do anything. The server admin updates the server and after that you can check out all changes instantly! If you want to update your local version, download the newest server.

4. Register at the server site.

The developers are all coding this as volunteers. It’s nice that you are willing to support this project. You may support our public server. But there are also many different other ways to help, you can help other people, translate or expand our FAQ/wiki or learning C++ and networking to become a dev. Anyone can do something!

If you want to change the hex values in Notepad ++, you will need the hex editor plugin installed. Then you need to change some numbers (look at the Q&A).
