LUNI may have lost it’s devs but it’s time we become or find new ones.
Thanks to @- dumbtube – for giving us courses on the Get Coding post, now we can learn code and become LUNI devs. I am learning SQL and C++ so I can develop the LUNIServer but I am a Slow Learner so it will take me time. I can tell you something I learn’t.SELECT * FROM (table name) shows the table.
April 21, 2016 at 1:13 pm #5731EgmoParticipantI agree, I suggest Timtech tries to find more developers, as LUNI still has SOME hope. But right now it’s all about public server progress, and closed server progress.
April 21, 2016 at 3:37 pm #5735GlassParticipantJeez, TimTech cant just force dev’s to work on LUNI. DLU is comming out. TimTech also cant just pay devs. Its open source and anyone can add on to it and work on it.

10/10 @Egmo
Now for anyone wanting a real answer, LUNI is 100% dead in the water. Gone. Nada. No life forms detected. The community is all that remains, and even then it really is just a “Lego Universe Server” community. Also, for egmo’s “public server progress”. That made me cry. Tears of blood.
What progress? No public servers have come up with an INCH of new progress. Not one inch. Thats pretty bad. The only developer that I know that even re-created OLD progress on a public server was Kendal. Literally it. And guess what? Kendal doesn’t even work for you anymore egmo!
So if you want progress, like we have said 100000 times before, wait or become a god. Your choice. LUNI has had 1 single true developer, and that was Xipho. everyone else was either part of the the original server project or found by their devs privately.
All in all? LUNI has no hope. Deal with it 😛

April 22, 2016 at 3:46 pm #5740Sheffi JParticipantHi it’s me again, your friendly forum idiot,
I agree with most of your points CDF (For once :P), but I would say Luni is not dead. In fact it’s actually very (Idk if I would say 100%) alive. There are many new threads on here everyday, and there are public servers.
Luni isn’t dead, it just isn’t growing. The public servers that we do have have not gone anywhere, and no progress has been made at all. Luni’s at a stand-still.Basically Luni isn’t dead (obviously. We’re here right now), it just isn’t going anywhere anytime soon (as in, most likely forever). So Luni’s progress is “dead.” not all of Luni itself.
Idk I just felt that saying Luni is “dead” is a little over dramatic. But whatevs I don’t really care, call it what you want, I still agree that Luni isn’t making “progress.”
Ok now you can hate on me.
April 22, 2016 at 4:12 pm #5741LiveModeratorHe meant the server codebase and not this website.
April 22, 2016 at 4:16 pm #5742CDFalconParticipantThe community is all that remains
Umm. You were saying?
April 22, 2016 at 4:59 pm #5746AnonymousInactiveLUNI is not dead @CDFalcon it’s still alive and it will get new devs soon and get more progress again.
Atm LUNI is like 75% dead but if we can get devs or become devs then we can bring LUNI back to life again.
April 23, 2016 at 3:01 pm #5790Sheffi JParticipantThere’s 0 devs and nothing’s happening
which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it gives the devs the privacy of working on DLU
Also I’d much prefer devs to work on DLU than on Luni, DLU is much farther along the road compared to Luni (so I’ve heard I don’t actually know anything at all)
