So, I for one don’t like having a blob of pixels for my avatar and I noticed lots of people don’t have a custom avatar. In this tutorial I will show you step-by-step how to change your profile picture.

    Step 1:
First, go to en.gravatar.com and create an account (See screenshot one)
    Screenshot One

    Step 2:
Now, follow the steps to create an account, then, find an image you want to use as your avatar. (I used this website to make my avatar image: http://sigfigcreator.thelegomovie.com/ )

    Step 3:
Now, click “My Gravatars” and then click the button that says “Add a new image” (See screenshot two)
    Screenshot Two

    Step 4:
Click “Upload new” and then select the picture you wish to use from the file explorer window that pops up. (See screenshot three for the correct button to click)
    Screenshot Three

    Step 5:
Once you have uploaded your image, just click it in the “Manage Gravatars” area, and then it will set it as your, well, gravatar! Just go into your account settings on LUNI and select your gravatar account. Then just re-log into LUNI and it should be there!

I hope this tutorial has helped you, if you have any questions or problems with this tutorial please tell me!

Hey Poke, nice tutorial! Only thing that’s missing are the screenshots. You linked to local paths (the pictures are on your computer), which means that no one but you can see them. If you can upload them to a free image hosting site like imgur.com, I will fix the pictures for you 🙂 but the tutorial still makes sense without them, nice job!

Thank you @Timtech! I was wondering why the screenshots weren’t showing up. Here’s the link to the screenshots (Each one is labeled to match the tutorial): http://imgur.com/a/7numy

I do have a question though, how did you get the pictures to show up like that @matero6

When you add the image, make sure the source is a URL that everyone can access, such as http://i.imgur.com/DtYD0Yn.png

You can either use this URL with the IMG button in the forum editor, or you can write the HTML yourself. For example:

    <img src="https://i.imgur.com/DtYD0Yn.png" />

    Gives you this:

Oh, that’s really simple. Thank you @Timtech!
