Has anyone been able to open the world files in a program like Blender?

    Thanks

By world files are you referring to the terrain?

    Hi

I wanted to continue that topic I bumped but I just discovered this forum and thought why not continue it here.
I wanted to know, has anyone been able to open any world files in Blender (or any 3D rendering programs) and have been able to edit it and fool around with it? If so how and what have you been able to do w/ it?

This interests me. I will extract my PK files and see what I find.

Apparently I am seeing .nif models, which are used in the Gamebryo engine. I found this interesting thread on importing .nif files into blender.

You’ll need NifSkope to edit or export the .nif models – https://github.com/jonwd7/nifskope/releases

Not quite… there is the basic grass terrain which is in raw files but pretty much all the rest of the map is nifs.
