Project files. So you know how programs don’t just leave .cpp and .h files sitting around, but compile them to EXE or dll files usually? I am talking about that. So do we have the client source files meaning the files that you could open with Visual Studio without decompiling?

Just out of curiosity do we have the source files to the client?

So turns out I fixed character creation, AND being able to play worlds, only one problem:

Sometimes you don’t spawn at the right coordinates.

I can post more on what I did later still has alot of small bugs

(I am assuming the “latest unstable dev” is v0.6, because I had to modify it to get it to work)

I actually just took a look at the code, and I think I know how to fix the 0% loading problem but the thing is that you spawn under the venture explorer and idk how to modify the .bin files to fix it.

For me it freezes at 0% loading for the venture explorer, but not in earlier versions.

I fixed this problem on my server by typing in a custom name instead. That worked for me.

Ok, I think I solved the problem. I had to use the nexus 2 client instead of my actual legit copy of the client.
BUT my problem now is this: After I created the character, its stuck at 0% loading for the venture explorer.
I think the nexus 2 client isnt configured properly in its boot.cfg, its likely not connecting to the World server.
Could you please post the full proper boot.cfg file, when I change mine it crashes the server
