I mean I suppose we could do it but LEGO probably wouldn’t accept it even if we reached or even surpassed our goal.

But it would hurt a lot of people if we reach our goal & then they won’t want reopen it. Even though I have no say in this decision, but I would think this out thoroughly and completely. The outcome, the steps, how you will react if something bad happens, and more factors. Good luck on your decision.
