0.8 isn’t ready for release. You can download it from the github here https://github.com/LUNIServer/UniverseServer?files=1 setting it up is up to you. Support isn’t provided for non-released versions.
There is no research for the files. They simply aren’t in the client. You’d need either a FAT client or a client that was abandoned during around the Frostburgh era. Not 100% sure on either of those but I’m fairly sure if you had a client that wasn’t used since Frostburgh release you could access it. And as for the FAT client only a handful of people have that and aren’t interested in uploading it. Not 100% sure if the FAT client even has access to Frostburgh though.
He might still have access to the Dev server yes. But it would most likely be illegal for him to publicly release it.
That was done by Shival. Shival was a Mythran in LU he did videos of unreleased content after the closure of LU. He’s been contacted and is not interested in helping with reviving LU.
You are the second person to ask us to bring back Monkey Quest. I’m not quite sure how to get it through people’s minds that MMO revival is based on people’s passion to play that game again. We are not your employees for you to place requests on what to revive again. When/if LUNI is finished the devs that brought it back will play LU or maybe they will leave that is their choice. If they want to bring back Monkey Quest they can. But that is the individual’s choice.
