You have to download both a client and a server. Try Nexus 2 (~4.5GB zipped, 12.5GB unzipped) and the server 0.5.1 (some MB). Then, extract these files and run the LUNI Server.exe before you start the client\legouniverse.exe

Make sure if you are trying to receive connections from outside your LAN/WAN that ports 1001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 are forwarded to your internal IP address. Then, set your server’s config.ini redirect_ip=(your external IP) and others will make their client’s boot.cfg AUTHSERVERIP=0:(your external IP),

You’re meant to play with CheekyMonkey 😉

P.S. “atm” means “at the moment”

In the comments sections of the main page on TimTech Software, mater released his launchpad build. I’ve tried it out already but I got the error where abort() is called right when someone tries to connect, and I haven’t had time to work that out yet.

Okay, the data type section was the part that I totally missed. Thanks for explaining it all to me 🙂 hopefully now I can work with world_2a.bin in its decompressed form.

With 0.6.0 this was accidently bugged when Jon released it. 0.6.1 is basically the same thing, but fixing 0.6.0.

Actually, what you might be able to do to release port 80 is go to Local Services and turn off anything related to SQL Server Services. But making Apache run on a different port should be fine as well.

That communication process is very nice and easy to understand, and the session states are also interesting. I actually understand each part of the packet header thanks to the docs by humanoid, but I’m still trying to work with LDF, especially in world_2a.bin. I’ve got the decompressed version thanks to Jon’s script, but I don’t understand how all of the keys and their values work. Might you be able to explain this to me?

The player’s position is in three little endian floats, as illustrated by the following picture:

    Here you go – http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

If you still get the error message, install Visual Studio 2013 Express for Desktop.

You can use the “IMG” button in the bar above where you type your post to insert an image. To upload an image, you can use a service like Imgur to upload an image. Then, copy and paste the URL of the image (which you can find in the bar at the top of your browser) into the prompt that pops up when you press the “IMG” button to insert your image.

Well mater’s build has some new stuff, and I’m trying to get it to work with bluebrain’s LUNI Bundle.
