I made a new character and started up the game and I was stuck at 0%.
Here is my log when sitting at 0%: http://pastebin.com/7dWXngG5
LUNI Bundle: 0.6
If you would search through previous help requests you would see many people with the same problem.
I actually just took a look at the code, and I think I know how to fix the 0% loading problem but the thing is that you spawn under the venture explorer and idk how to modify the .bin files to fix it.
I did search though but has any of them been resolved?
Don’t use 0.6 is what the common reply is. 😛 I’d recommend 0.5.1
Can you change worlds in 5.1 and create a new character and such like that
None of the released builds allow playing as a created character. As for world changing 0.6.3 has functional launchpads. 0.5.1 you’ll need to use the Easy World Changer.
The 0.6 versions support custom chars, but getting the 0.6 versions to work is a real pain. I distinctly remember getting them to work, but how I packed it for release broke it…
Anyway, use 0.5.1 for now 🙂
Timtech I want to ask you if you guys could use any help with anything.
What do i do with the easy world changer after i have downloaded it?
I solved this from a little bit of help from one of Matt’s comments. Sadly though the post was closed and deleted… -_-
@Taco – you should run the .jar file (you need to have Java installed to run it).
@Prodigy_XD – Sorry about that, however the only topic I trashed on Matt was «Why Matt???» by @Lego-king and it didn’t contain any information on this. It’s more likely that the topic was closed and moved to the «Resolved» section of the «Help and Support» forum. You should still be able to find the post, although you can’t reply to it.
Here is a little of what I happen to remember. You will need a world_2a.bin file thrown in and some other things.
So turns out I fixed character creation, AND being able to play worlds, only one problem:
Sometimes you don’t spawn at the right coordinates.
I can post more on what I did later still has alot of small bugs
(I am assuming the «latest unstable dev» is v0.6, because I had to modify it to get it to work)
