I remember when we all had faith in LUNI of it actually bringing it back to the good old days. Now, there is nothing getting done and there are curious people here who leave because people are way to strict. this is a KIDS game, you cant expect people to know everything. There are probably just kids who only want LU to come back and they make a post about a questions, after this question is posted, people come on and say its a stupid or a simple answer that anyone could figure out. I can not stand seeing this community die, very very slowly and all that goes on is posting a basic question and getting it taken down and it being called stupid. I can’t just watch this happen without saying something, so until luni does something, I am leaving, it was great but maybe Lego Universe is supposed to be dead. Goodbye everyone 😀 its been great but I sadly must leave, my goal is to come back and maybe help, but until next time, goodbye
febrero 23, 2016 a las 10:53 am #3923XYQuadratModeradorGoodbye. Basically you are right. LU was a game for children, I won’t lie this. But you shouldn’t come across this site until you are, let’s say eleven (else this is the problem of the parents). And with this age (I know this, my little brother is about that age) you can search before post. Just my thoughts. See you another time!
febrero 23, 2016 a las 11:46 am #3927CDFalconParticipanteLol I find I don’t agree at all 😛
Mainly because of the fact that GENERALLY if a child can search the web, they NORMALLY can read the rules page as well.
Or browse the forums before posting their topics.
Not to mention everyone who played LU is at least 4 years older now. Meaning most people are a minimum of 10 or 11.
I hope.
febrero 23, 2016 a las 1:00 pm #3928HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperI agree with this somewhat. There tend to be lots of contradictions with the projects and the way everyone personally handles communities. When Raffa first made the Sourceforge forum I don’t really think he intended to face much of a community. The problem being projects split up. Humanoid and lcdr don’t want anything to do with being public and same with DLU. But with LUNI they embraced being open and with being open you have to expect a larger community and a wide variety of people. When it comes to questions regarding stuff that is semi-common knowledge everyone should be able to search the forum for that. But when it comes to a lot of stuff that isn’t really known of much at to the casual community (Such as DLU) you can only expect them to continue to support LUNI. Yet a lot of the diehard supporters seem to get their Lols out of insulting these people. It really just seems ignorant to do so. Not everyone wants LU back as much or has the time to try to be involved with this stuff. I guess really what I’m trying to say here is, yes people should search the forums for common knowledge. But it’s only natural for people to be curious/confused. And people really need to lax off insulting people who choose not to follow everything closely.
febrero 23, 2016 a las 1:02 pm #3929HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperBut also I get the idea you made this topic after seeing I closed ‘AlertRopes’ topic. He had already made a similar thread, and we have already seen plenty of ‘LUNI is dead, LUNI Isn’t dead’ talk.
febrero 24, 2016 a las 11:01 am #3945PokeMaster3003Community HelperWell, I for one will wait patiently for the developers to finish the game. I’ve waited four years, I can wait a few more. Don’t get angry at them, they are building a game from almost nothing. That takes a lot of time. Besides if they were to rush it some things may be buggy or non-functional (And that just puts MORE on their plates). Don’t leave the community, just. Wait.
febrero 24, 2016 a las 4:02 pm #3948Prodigy_XDBloqueadoI agree with you @PokeMaster3003 The best we can do is wait or even ask if the developers need help. But right now the developers are working as hard as they can to get Lego Universe fully functional and the best we can do is let them do what they do. Eventually we will have a fully functional game and it will be back to its original glory. Again what PokeMaster said, we do not want to rush them or else the game would need constant updates and bug fixes…
febrero 25, 2016 a las 4:52 pm #3957PokeMaster3003Community HelperSee, @Prodigy_XD knows whats up. Thanks for agreeing mate 😀
febrero 25, 2016 a las 6:59 pm #3958Prodigy_XDBloqueadoNo Problem @PokeMaster3003. I mean take EA for example. They release their games unfinished and need to constantly update and fix their games…
febrero 26, 2016 a las 5:35 pm #3967Lego kingParticipanteJust felt like saying this to any dev: 🙂
«Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.»

himarzo 18, 2016 a las 3:16 pm #4408timtomParticipanteGuys you are the best. Lego Universe is the best game in the world and many people want it back. I hope the server will be back soon but take your time and do the best . The best motivation for this is the money you will make with this game and a lot of kids who will play on a computer. Not using a Playsation
marzo 18, 2016 a las 8:48 pm #4420TimtechSuperadministradorHi @timtom,
Actually, we are strictly forbidden from marketing anything related to LEGO Universe for commercial purposes. This is why you will not see any ads on this site.
marzo 19, 2016 a las 5:48 am #4422timtomParticipanteCool that mean you are better as i thought. Guys i love you all
marzo 19, 2016 a las 11:58 am #4425XiphoseerModeradorThis actually got me thinking about how the multipurpose of money is also its greatest pitfall. Sadly this world is reigned by those who have it by now, as has been the case for a long time. I started working on LU because I liked the game back in the day, and because it is an awesome opportunity to reverse engineer into a very complex system as it turns out. Even if it was allowed to make money of it, that would not have been my goal. Anyways, I’m really sad, that you are right in general, that this would attract people to work on stuff.
marzo 19, 2016 a las 12:38 pm #4426PokeMaster3003Community HelperWould there be the option to donate? I wouldn’t care if my money went to buying new hardware to run servers or if it bought lunch for the devs, I would just want to donate to help LU.
