Etiquetado: petition
What do you all think about having an official petition to bring back LEGO Universe? Way back when, I never thought that a petition would be fruitful, but now that LEGO customer service responses seem to be changing, I figured we might as well have some kind of a petition and try to amass some 10.000 signatures, the same amount of signatures needed to get support on a LEGO Idea.
So, is organizing a petition to ask the LEGO Group to bring back LEGO Universe (or something to that effect) a good idea? You decide.
Hate to break it to you @Timtech but it has already been thought of a couple years ago… See for yourself

This may work. I have seen the e-mails stating where they may try it again one day, instead of the old «Sorry, but LEGO Universe is not coming back.» Now, there have been replies like «Who knows? Maybe some day we will give LEGO Universe another shot?» They seem to see how much bigger the brand has grown and seen the popularity around the game to this day that they may try and run it once more.
Thanks for pointing that out, demmi. I knew there were other petitions but I figured it might be the right time to try again. Just a thought similar to MJGYT’s. Also if we wanted to be original-ish we could change the goal from 10.000 to something else (?)
What number do you have in mind? 15K? 20K? 30K?

Cool Idea but i’m not sure that this works
we should make an account to continue only if they email lego about lego universe and send it to a moderator and lego
Really nothing to lose by making a petition. As other people pointed out there was a petition made like directly after LU closed. The fact this petition failed is no surprise to me due to the fact they just closed the game. Doesn’t really hurt to make a petition if people will sign it.
But it would hurt a lot of people if we reach our goal & then they won’t want reopen it. Even though I have no say in this decision, but I would think this out thoroughly and completely. The outcome, the steps, how you will react if something bad happens, and more factors. Good luck on your decision.

Like I previously said though there really is no loss. Even if there are no immediate results it still shows LEGO how many people are still interested in the game. It’s not as if anyone loses anything.
Do you have a date when you are putting up a petition yet TimTech?

Not really because it was just an idea. But I can put one up now if we write it. I have no clue what it would say…
I just wrote one
Nice, what did you say in it?
