The poll at the side of the site has been going for ages, and it already shows the majority wants the 0.8 update to be released. Why not release the update now, instead of waiting for the poll to end?
It was basically a combination of me wanting to give time to this specific poll as well as not having a better one to replace it with. Still, it’s been up for more than a month now, and I’ll replace it. Thanks for the reminder!
As for «releasing the update» – 0.8 framework/code has been on GitHub for a while already. «Releasing» it basically means that we will begin to offer support for it on the forums, as well as add it to the downloads page.
