None of the released builds allow playing as a created character. As for world changing 0.6.3 has functional launchpads. 0.5.1 you’ll need to use the Easy World Changer.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperDon’t use 0.6 is what the common reply is. 😛 I’d recommend 0.5.1
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperIf you would search through previous help requests you would see many people with the same problem.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperIf you want to learn how to work the software look up ‘LEGO Universe Now’ on YouTube he has lots of good tutorials that can probably help you out.

HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperYou don’t run the installer. Inside the LEGO Universe folder there will be 3 folders. Installer, Patcher, and Client. Go into the client folder and find legouniverse.exe and launch that.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperLocalhost or Egmo’s server?
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperTry downloading the torrent using uTorrent.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperNothing personal against you or this thread but I see the question has been answered by the previous two responses. Leaving this thread open any longer I feel just leaves it open for hate messages.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity Helper@CaptClockobob You act as if you are entitled to know.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity Helper0.6.3 doesn’t let you play as the character you create. 0.6 basically added the MySQL database which allows for your created character to be stored. 0.5 or 0.6 either way you get to play as CheekyMonkey
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperPlease try to limit your requesting help to one topic. Thanks!
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperDLU will update you on it’s progress when it releases.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperBut also I get the idea you made this topic after seeing I closed ‘AlertRopes’ topic. He had already made a similar thread, and we have already seen plenty of ‘LUNI is dead, LUNI Isn’t dead’ talk.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperI agree with this somewhat. There tend to be lots of contradictions with the projects and the way everyone personally handles communities. When Raffa first made the Sourceforge forum I don’t really think he intended to face much of a community. The problem being projects split up. Humanoid and lcdr don’t want anything to do with being public and same with DLU. But with LUNI they embraced being open and with being open you have to expect a larger community and a wide variety of people. When it comes to questions regarding stuff that is semi-common knowledge everyone should be able to search the forum for that. But when it comes to a lot of stuff that isn’t really known of much at to the casual community (Such as DLU) you can only expect them to continue to support LUNI. Yet a lot of the diehard supporters seem to get their Lols out of insulting these people. It really just seems ignorant to do so. Not everyone wants LU back as much or has the time to try to be involved with this stuff. I guess really what I’m trying to say here is, yes people should search the forums for common knowledge. But it’s only natural for people to be curious/confused. And people really need to lax off insulting people who choose not to follow everything closely.
HappyAngryCatfishCommunity HelperHow many topics related to this have been made lately? We really don’t need any more.
