SuperadministradorUse the LU Translator to easily change to any of eleven locales – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4k3HUP_6gA
Or, for English or German, follow this tutorial (for German users) or do the reverse (for English users) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBBkRgVo40cPlease read the pinned topics before making new topics, or you may receive infractions. Topic closed.

Superadministrador…
Learn how to download and extract files. Torrenting the uncompressed version might even be easier at this point. Closing.

SuperadministradorYou need to be connecting to a server that’s hosted on your computer, or to a public server (none are up right now though). Otherwise, it won’t work, because LEGO’s old servers and your LEGO.com accounts no longer work with LEGO Universe… they’re long gone.

Timtech. Razón: typo in @user
Timtech
SuperadministradorHave you used the LU Translator? It might be linked to that. Otherwise, make sure you have a locale.xml, and in boot.cfg that
LOCALE=0:en_US,
Timtech
SuperadministradorBasically think of the latest version of LUNI as LEGO Universe without any NPCs or enemies to interact with. There is chat, friends, and world travel.

SuperadministradorIf you are looking for the client’s assets, do like @happyangrycatfish suggested, and use the LUPKExtractor.
If you want C-like pseudocode, I recommend IDA’s Hex-Ray plugin. But the code will most likely be completely useless to you.
And if you want to modify the machinecode at runtime, CheatEngine has some great functionality for that.Timtech
SuperadministradorI would email you if Russian was a language we didn’t support yet, but with the LU Translator we have added support for Russian (ru_RU, pyccкий). I wanted to put the XML file on GitHub, but it was too large, so the only place you can access it is at https://luniserver.com/locale-timtech.xml
The Russian translations are all machine translated (via Google Translate) so I suppose they could use some major improvements. If you’re willing, you could go through all of the Russian translations and improve the ones that don’t make sense.
Thanks for helping out with the project, @Leviofan

Timtech. Razón: typo fix (our -> out)
Timtech
Superadministrador- Yes, that’s right – all of the enemies are static if spawned into the game.
- Yes, checksums are known for every world except Keelhaul Canyon.
- If you’re asking if a server is being hosted now, then no, but otherwise you might try to set one up yourself.
- Yes, in your boot.cfg you can change AUTHSERVERIP to any IP you want to play on (although there are none active right now).
Timtech
SuperadministradorThe 0.5.1 server doesn’t require MySQL, so check your client’s boot.cfg (it will just be called «boot» if you don’t have file extensions showing) and make sure that
AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,
.Timtech
SuperadministradorYeah, that’s easier to understand.
Timtech
SuperadministradorHere’s a start; I could use some help expanding it – https://luniserver.com/download/server-progress/
Timtech
SuperadministradorDue to spamming on the nexus2.zip I was forced to remove it. You either have to use a torrent client to get Nexus2 or download BlastClient from MEGA. The file tree is simply for reference, especially for .pk files.
Timtech
SuperadministradorIt sounds like you are using version 0.4. Try 0.5.1 and if it still happens either wait a minute or try playing with some of the other characters.
Timtech
SuperadministradorMake sure in boot.cfg that
AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,
and thatPATCHSERVERIP=0:,
, and also that the server is running and in its config.ini thatredirect_ip=localhost
assuming you are using 0.5.1. -
