We really need a precise changelog somewhere. If it’s not already a public server requirement, I’ll add that.
luniserver.com is not responsible for running the server, hence we neither know nor are we responsible to answer such questions. “The servers are under maintance” cleary says it ise not available at that time, usually the only valid help you can get is «try again later». Topic closed, please read the forum rules before posting!
Not quite… there is the basic grass terrain which is in raw files but pretty much all the rest of the map is nifs.
That Github Tim linked is not much more than a joke right now. The only original commit does not interact with the rest of the server, meaning it is worthless.
DLU works diffrently than LUNI/LUR/Ion/LUX/JLU, it’s not that trivial to merge those efforts. Furthermore, Ion & LUR are public servers not a new nodebase, I’ve yet to see some real progress in them. And I’m referring to progress under the hood, not making it look like it works. Prove me wrong though :P.
@mater06, all DLU devs have the source afaik, but it’s very few peopleCollaborating is a tricky thing. You can easily get into situations where too many chefs break the meal, and it has to do a lot with trust and experience. Neither LUR nor Ion have their codebase public afaik, which would be essential if we wanted to form one central effort. It’s difficult to judge how capable a person is if you havn’t seen their work (not the resulting server).
Darwin has made it clear several times, that DLU will remain as closed up as it is right now. As for the others, I’d like to see some of the developers work out there, then we’ll see.
it seems like it just mirrors the movement of the player. May be a hidden feature in the game, or a mix up of components in the server. I’m tending towards the first as the components serialize absolute positions, not relative movement.
That sidenote wasn’t targeted at you @Varynos but was meant to explain why Egmo/LUR and Ion are sometimes criticized. Sorry for not making that clear.
That’s what the project I have in mind is about: being able to help in other ways than developing the actual server.
Waiting for DLU is no reason to idle, but you shouldn’t pretend to be a dev if you’re not.
I’m away for a week, but when I’ll return, I’m going to start a community project that might help out any LU development.

It does work, it’s quite far from done, but further along than starting.

I share your concern somewhat as the polling system would have let me vote for a second time on my phone. But i’ve heard of Timtech checking for such invalid votes.
I personally haven’t told anybody about the poll, no idea about the others. If anything people might be voting for names.
Around 120 people have participated in the demographics survey too, so that is realistic.
I really like your design as a piece of art/the thought into it but it is a bit too noisy as a logo for my liking.
I actually doubt Egmo was doing it, but that is not relevant. I would advise using
DELETE FROM accounts WHERE email LIKE '%egmo.co'or similar. Doing it manually is just painful and not necessary.You might need to change that query slightly as i’m not sure if ‘email’ is the correct name of that column in the DB. Look up SQL!
I recreated a vector graphic from proposal (edit of Johntor’s!) and had a bit of fun creating images that have the same corporate identity, but always have a different style to them.

Who will be attending the stream & Xiphoseer (Unconfirmed) doesn’t quite work together! Don’t say this like i’ve confirmed anything… I’ve got work to do and said I might be attending, not being sure.
