@MassiveFilthyViking, Welcome to LUNI.
If you upload the client somwhere (e.g. Google Docs), we can check it out and see if it is of any use.XiphoseerModeradorYou couldn’t start it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Any work, teamwork or not is useless when trying to fix something that is not broken. There is no «fix» for it anyways, since the server is not multithreaded anymore.
When you contribute code, ideas, data, tools, docs, etc… you are a contributor. I don’t know what you are answering with this, but yes any help is a contribution.
It is mostly true that for a full project nobody will understand all of the code someone else wrote. For a small passage that is possible. The thing is that you don’t need to understand that part of the server, you just need to use it. I have to admit though that I still have to document my code.
XiphoseerModeradorWhy not use an old version for that?
XiphoseerModeradorBut this is exactly the kind of question that the no support policy is for because it’s not documented properly and bound to change in the future.

XiphoseerModeradorConsole is neither, just database access. You need to launch auth and world separately to get it to work.
XiphoseerModeradorI looked at it, and by a first look it sadly seems like a less complete client of the same version (1.10.64) we already have. I can’t even start it.
XiphoseerModeradorI’m actually interested in your reasoning to this. I understand that you might feel offended, and I apologise for that part of the story, but my point is still valid. I am open to discuss that with you, but from my point of view the direction that github issue discussion took was not appropriate.
XiphoseerModeradorThat post does not contain nearly enough information to help you. What files did you download, what accounts are created, what ip do you connect to,… try again later is normally a could not connect issue.
XiphoseerModerador@tigerstar144, you are not expected to know a lot about coding, but the project just is at a stage where you can’t really use it when you don’t know how to develop on it. Enemies are not that easy, that’s all I can say without going into technical details.
XiphoseerModerador@LegoClub, you failed to comply with my rules, see the topic you created for details!
XiphoseerModeradorMoved Topic Possible Updates List? to trash, because the Question by @tigerstar144 about a Changelog/Update List has already been answered in other topics (See Search: Changelog).
Deleted Posts #1598 & #1602 from this topic, because the question by @LegoClub about registering to play becomes invalid with the public servers all closed at the moment, and the response by me (@Xiphoseer) becomes irrelevant.
XiphoseerModeradorIs that the same folder as luniserver.exe or however the executable is called?
XiphoseerModerador@LegoClub, if you have the time and knowledge to fully explain him how to do it, go ahead. The important part for us is that:
a) no executables get uploaded anywhere, so everybody has to compile himself
b) if something breaks anyways, we don’t want to be asked
c) ONLY use links to the LUNIServer GitHub or official pages like microsoft.com/msdn.com or mysql.com e.g. for external libraries. No third party file host! luniserver.com is allowed too.
d) If you write down any tutorial, make sure you include a warning that no support will be given, and any request following your tutorial will be redirected to you or ignored completely.XiphoseerModerador@LegoClub, no, that would not be allowed either. Maybe CuzItsJonny could get the data legally because he is co-manager of the server, but for the rest of us, we don’t count, since it was a CDFalcon server not a designated LUNI server with us all responsable.
XiphoseerModeradorThe latest released versions have tutorials on this site, for the unreleased development, no support will be provided. It’s not that different from old versions, we just haven’t set up a standard procedure to do it and don’t want the same questions every time someone tries to set it up. Since you only want to play alone, 0.6.3 or 0.5.1 should work for you. In case you meant the in-dev stuff, I suggest you read the forum rules, as it’s already explained there. Everybody should do that actually.
