    When I launch the Lego Universe client from my desktop(shortcut), ıt opens the LEGO Universe updater v 12.85, and the window that opens shows a red box saying “ERROR:’unable to download Lego Universe. Please check your internet connection or go to http://www.LEGOUniverse.com for troubleshooting.'”

    What am I supposed to do?

    That happens when you start the patcher without the necessary changes made to your environment. The patcher tries to connect to http://services.lego.com where it doesn’t find anything LU related anymore, so it gives out that error. The easiest way around this, is to open the folder your client is stored in, and open the “client” directory and then start “legouniverse.exe”. You may need to adjust boot.cfg to connect to a server of your choice.

    When you use the client you used when the game was live, you might need to download a full version (~10GB), e.g. nexus2 or the BlastClient, which are both complete enough for mostly stable gameplay.

    Thanks for the advice, funny thing is I hadn’t noticed the client was in the zip file I downloaded from the torrent link, have been wondering where it was and now I got it. I’d like to thank you very much for you help 🙂 Have a nice day !

    I have another issue. When I log in it says “Connecting to Authentication”, then displays the message “Could not log you into Lego Universe please try again in a few minutes.” I looked at this issue at FAQs; however, even if my server window is open and it says auth started, char started and World started I cannot connect to the game. How can I resolve this?

    Make sure the client’s boot.cfg has AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost, and make sure your redirect_ip in config.ini is set to localhost.

    I am facing an issue in connecting to the public server. In the topic page “Regarding the public server” there was an address where you registered an account in order to use for connection. I entered the ip of the public server into AUTHSERVERIP=0:. However, when I entered the login info I registered at http://71.226.128.188:8080 the game said my account was banned and I couldn’t connect. Could someone please tell me the exact reason for this and any ways to resolve this issue?

    Make sure you did AUTHSERVERIP=0:71.226.128.188, without the http:// or :8080

    I have checked my boot and I have the IP without http:// or :8080.

    Your account is banned by default. Falcon does this to keep tabs on who is joining and such.
