Recently the LUNI moderators (including HappyAngryCatfish, and excluding one response from a non-moderator) each gave feedback by voting on whether or not they think each moderator should remain a moderator (or in my case, if I should remain the admin), and voted on any possible new moderators. Here are the results:
- CDFalcon – 5 negative (2 very negative), 1 neutral, 2 positive (1 very positive)
- jon002 – 1 neutral, 7 positive (5 very positive)
- Knightoffaith – 1 neutral, 7 positive (7 very positive)
- Live – 1 neutral, 7 positive (5 very positive)
- mater06 – 3 negative (1 very negative), 2 neutral, 3 positive
- Xiphoseer – 1 neutral, 7 positive (7 very positive)
- XYQuadrat – 3 neutral, 5 positive (5 very positive)
- Me (Timtech) – 3 neutral, 5 positive (1 very positive)
If the number of negative votes a moderator received exceeded their number of neutral and positive votes, combined, they were demoted from moderator to community helper (sorry, @CDFalcon).
As for potential moderators, the number of positive votes they received must have exceeded the number of negative votes to be considered. The only such candidate was @Kittyjumpyphone with 2 negative, 2 neutral, and 4 positive (1 very positive). Thus, I am glad to announce their promotion to moderator 🙂
We voted on one other question – “Since development is more or less dead, should a version 0.8 be released?” The response was 4 yes, 2 no, and 2 other. The other responses were “Keep a link to the GitHub, but don’t post it on the site” and “For security patching”. Since there is a division on this issue I don’t know what will happen, but I think working towards a 0.8 release or at least support for versions beyond the buggy 0.6.x series is a good idea.

May 3, 2016 at 10:00 pm #5920CDFalconParticipantWondered how long this would take.
Alls well that end well.
And why on earth would you give me a community helper tag Tim?? Please remove, I would rather not be associated with this community unless I was in a position of power ;).
And oi, Kitty, glad you are a mod, I was that one super positive. Hope you care more about these people than I did 😉

May 11, 2016 at 1:49 pm #5930AnonymousInactiveI know I don’t get along with CDFalcon, but I am going to vote Positive because he has kept the LUNI Community Stable (What I mean by stable is: he cleans out the spammers and he bans people if they are being constantly anonying and he closes/deletes dumb topics).
May 11, 2016 at 4:18 pm #5932HappyAngryCatfishCommunity Helper@Eddy this wasn’t/isn’t a public vote. It was a moderator vote.

Idk why people give me credit all I did was make a tutorialMay 12, 2016 at 3:24 am #5940WickedGCParticipantWell your confusion to why people give you credit is quite understandable, as nobody actually gives you any credit for anything, due to the fact that you’ve done nothing of importance.
May 12, 2016 at 11:44 am #5946Lego kingParticipantI was joking. I know all that you are saying. That is why I hinted it in the end and that’s why I put :P.
All I have made was unfinished work. The LUNI time capsule is still in progress. The LUNI launcher just had concept art. converting LU server and client to mac just ended up having a tutorial for the client only on wine. The LUNI app was made when this site lost support from people and it was useless to finish and publish. And me learning C++ stopped a while ago.
The only things I have done that was good is the LUNI mac client tutorial (kinda good for mac noobs) and stay around here and be loyal spreading the word on youtube. (only if you consider that helpful)
