ParticipantI haven’t been checking this site out very much, but I decided to look and it changed a lot. I’m sure I can get my client set up, I just have a few quests about progress
I saw other players, on public server you can play together now?
I saw somebody wearing faction gear, are NPCs/enemies in the game? And if not how do you spawn gear?
That’s all I have to ask but if somebody could give me a summary for the last few months that would me awesome

ParticipantWell people have been developing on public servers. I’m hosting a public server right now, along with three other developers of mine. NPCs are available to be spawned and so are enemies in my server, and LUNI right now is a community website, Jonny’s server unfortunately got hacked by a developer of mine, which has been fired. There is quite a lot of progress that was made during the time you’ve been away, and now the only Public Server available right now is my server, which is called LEGO Universe Reborn.
Welcome back! If you want to get started on my server go on http://reborn.luniserver.com/UniverseLauncher/

ParticipantAlright- thanks for responding! One question though, how do you spawn enemies, and will the attack/ can be smashed? And what is the IP address for the boot.cfg. Sorry if its on the website, I might have missed it.

ParticipantI downloaded it, it wouldn’t extract so I used 7zip. Now it says nothing is in boot.cfg and when I try to run the .exe it says “This app cannot run on your computer”
I have windows 10 and my computer is far past lego universes min requirements, GTX 980 and skylake processor..
I don’t see what the problem is… run in compatibility mode?January 10, 2016 at 12:37 pm #2871Timtech
KeymasterWhat is the size of the client zip you downloaded? It could be corrupted, in which case you could torrent the client. By the way, the server’s actual IP is 86.16.243.211, but you can simply make
AUTHSERVERIP=0:reborn.luniserver.com
in your boot.cfgP.S. Welcome back, Robo!

ParticipantThanks! It might be corrupted, but I cannot torrent it because of rules set by my ISP.
It shows nothing actually in the boot.cfg and the legouniverse.exe can not launchJanuary 10, 2016 at 5:33 pm #2874Timtech
KeymasterYou can try downloading with a different browser.

ParticipantYeah, still didn’t extract… hmm I google the problem and couldn’t really find an answer. All I got was people suddenly working for them. idk what else to try

ParticipantYour ISP wouldn’t let you even download the torrent client. That’s weird, because I know that most ISP don’t let you download illegal torrents such as free game copies but I haven’t heard of not even the torrent client and getting open source software. Check the ISP’s rules to make sure that you can get open source products.

ParticipantYeah, I thought that too, I’ve had troubles with MMO updates (like World of Tanks) in the past
