I was wonder what i should port forward to, to allow friends to join. If thats possibe. im on 0.5.1, and should it be TCP or UDP?
First off if you do host a server for friends with 0.5.1 you will not be able to see each other or chat. (Not even 100% sure if it’ll even work)
TCP, UDP, and you must use 6.1 or higher.

TCP, UDP, and you must use 6.1 or higher.
What ports should I use to portfoward (ex Minecraft is 25565) and what version should my friend use
Okay, if you are using any version below 0.8 you will not be able to see each other.
You’ll need to forward ports 1001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 for both TCP and UDP.
Is it a way to downlode 0.8? Or is it not out yet?
@Wincent 0.8 is the unfinished Dev version. It is only available on Github. The setup is not supported.
Actually, only port 1001 is required for the Auth server. All other ports should be configurable in config.ini
I have other questions
1) Can I use Hamachi to port forward
2) Since you can only see your friends in 6.1 or above why is it stuck at 0% at Venture Explorer
3) I’ve looked around the forums for the 0% fix there is nothing, I have 0.7 but there is no starting .exe
People have attempted to give you help but you don’t seem to really know what your doing. There is no starting .exe because it is no starting .exe because it isn’t compiled. There is no support provided for unreleased versions.
