First off, I can’t see the formatting options. 😛 http://prntscr.com/7d5odv
I would suggest adding a login widget to the sidebar, specifically for the forums (I know there are plugins that allow you to add that widget and control which pages widgets show up on).
Also, because of Lego’s fair trade policy, I would HIGHLY suggest moving to luniver.se, as opposed to legounvier.se. I’d keep the domain as a redirect though, perhaps with a little notice of the change so that you can eventually stop paying for the extra domain. 😛
I would suggest embedding a chat widget into the site (IE like the one from KiwiIRC) that leads to the general LUNI chat I set up on freenode at #luni-server.
Once the various bugs in this site are worked out, traffic should be directed here and not to TTS, and I would suggest removing the LU section from there, to keep things clean.
I did suggest running a GitLab instance here instead of using an external service, but it seems that GitHub is working nicely, so that may not be necessary.
Seems to me that the music link is kinda pointless, as it isn’t really LUNI (and can be found elsewhere).
Could info about setting up the LUNI software be put on this site? I can help with that if you want.
I think it would be nice if the info from luni.info could be transferred here. I get the whole minimalist thing with that, but could you at least provide a nicely formatted version here, perhaps pulling the content from there? That would be really nice IMO. If you haven’t gotten my view already, we really need to consolidate as much as we can into one place and make it look decent.
Hopefully this was at least somewhat helpful. 🙂
Additionally, would it be possible to set the forum role of those in these forums who are active in development (that is, have actually released substantial code relevant to the furthering of the LUNI Server software) to ‘developer’, as opposed to the default ‘participant’?
Also: Adding a favicon would be a good idea…
