Hey, this is probably a stupid question. I’ve opened boot.cfg but I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do. Is there a guide somewhere? The download section was really confusing. I’d appreciate it if someone explained it to me like they were explaining it to their mother haha. Thanks! (also I need to know an IP address for a good public server, i couldn’t find one)
I’m sorry for bumping this but I really really want to play, haha! I guess a better way to ask my question is:
To anyone who has managed to connect to Egmo’s server, how did you do it? I’d like a simple guide or something, thanks a bunch.
I can’t help you because I’m having the same problem but this forum isn’t the most active. Wait like at least a week before bumping, m8.

That is mine feel free to take it and replace yours as of the moment there is only one server and that is Egmo’s it is not up all the time and has lots of issues however you can explore the worlds by yourself. Don’t forget this is still a project that is being fixed it is hard to take over someone else’s work and have no documentation on it to go from so its not perfect atm
Hey, that’s really great. Thanks a ton! Is there a specific username and password I am supposed to enter? It says that Lego Universe Reborn is online(bottom of site), but it says that I should try again in a few minutes(always says that)…
Am I supposed to use a certain password and username or something?
Lately the website has said that the server is up but when you click on the link it says there are 0 instances up. This means the server is practically down. I’m not exactly sure when the server will be back up but I hope it will be soon. Egmo’s been making some major updates to the server.
@Bloopers All public servers are offline right now (you can see their statuses at the bottom of the page). And in response to your initial question, you edit the AUTHSERVERIP to change the IP of the server you want to connect to, so for Egmo’s server you would do
AUTHSERVERIP=0:reborn.luniserver.com,(if you want to play on a server you are hosting yourself on the same PC you would make itAUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,).I tried using localhost in the boot file and when I open LU, it said the same thing as always, „Sorry, we can’t connect you to Lego Universe at this time. Please try again in a few minutes.“ What should I do?
Do you have the server downloaded and running? If not I recommend version 0.51 seeing as it requires no knowledge of using SQL
Thank you so much! I downloaded the right server and now localhost works great! I can’t connect to Egmo’s server though. Do I need a Lego ID to log in or do I log in with my login data from this website?
I believe you use the username and password that you create when you sign up on this page
