    5.1 is the easiest to setup, simply forward ports 1001 2002 2003 and 2004.

    6.1 can be used as well, however MySQL is needed for it to run.

    8.0 is 100% the best server version, however as Catfish said no one will give you support.

    @pwjones1969 glad to have you. As for the suggestion Kitty, I have no doubt that the stream will quickly turn into randomly spawning objects, esp if Matt shows up lol 😉

    TCP, UDP, and you must use 6.1 or higher.

    You do not have to do /register.

    The 5.1 server does not need usernames/passwords.

    Also, 5.1 does not support character creation.

    Mainly because of the fact that GENERALLY if a child can search the web, they NORMALLY can read the rules page as well.

    Or browse the forums before posting their topics.

    Not to mention everyone who played LU is at least 4 years older now. Meaning most people are a minimum of 10 or 11.

    short answer: No.

    Only a few private servers exist anymore.
