Make sure in the „boot“ file (or boot.cfg with file extensions shown) that PATCHSERVERIP is blank. So instead of something like

First off, the server has started successfully. You don’t need MySQL for 0.5.1, and it’s obvious that the servers have started up by looking at the log. That’s what 0.5.1 should output when you run it.
You have to make sure to say yes to any popups if they open to ask you about allowing a network exception. Also, ensure that in the file called „boot“ (I’m assuming you don’t have file extensions showing, which means you have to edit the file called „boot“ instead of „boot.cfg“ which is really „boot.cfg.bak“) that
AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,andPATCHSERVERIP=0:,. Additionally, 0.5.1’s config.ini should haveredirect_ip=localhostunless you changed that.If you’re playing on a public server, you have to register on its website before you can log in.
Then, you edit the file in the client folder called „boot“ („boot.cfg“ if you’re showing file extensions) and change

(I thought I had removed the .zip file link, but then I realized you were probably downloading it via the German or Spanish version of the page.)
Is the server running? Is your client’s boot file configured so that
AUTHSERVERIP=0:localhost,? Have you extracted the server and client .zip files before running them?It is my understanding that Havok is free for non-commercial use. I don’t know if that was true before Microsoft bought them.

I think you are right; from this license it is apparent that DLU binaries could be released. I doubt that they would do so from what I’ve heard, but licensing was definitely a lame excuse.
Feel free to voice legitimate concerns about Ion Universe’s return, but please don’t post needless replies. Good luck with the server, @glassspacetrout (and please don’t accept donations like Egmo did).
