Hey,
email
should be correct, the table column is specified as'email' varchar(30)
.As Jon already said I’d suggest setting up a captcha asap, that would at least stop the registration flooding.
Also I recommend grabbing the webserver log files and identifying the IP that sent all the post requests to the webserver. You can then go ahead and block the IP or CIDR completely off your network. Since you seemed to have problems with the 0-payload packets in the past, I recommend sniffing the traffic of your server as well (at least when being attacked) to identify the problem and block it.

LiveModeratorAfter you have created an account on the website I linked you can login with the account you made there using the LU client. If the server is up you will be able to login and create a character and play.
The server however is not officially sponsored and/or affiliated with this website. We do not provide support for any gameplay issues or connectivity issues. Please take a look at the corresponding forums/website of said server.
For this reason we can also not give answers to questions like “is the server up?” etc. Refer to the appropiate websites for information about the server’s status.
LiveModeratorI told you in a post before that you just have to download the boot.cfg I posted and save it as boot.cfg in the clients folder by replacing the existing one. Please do that.
LiveModeratorThe file needs to have the filetype “.cfg” not just boot, so please make sure its boot.cfg. Accounts for the ION server can be made on ion.no-ip.org/ion/
LiveModeratorDownload the boot.cfg from here (Right click -> Save target as…) and replace your current boot.cfg with this new version.
LiveModerator- Close Lego Universe
- Open the boot.cfg with a text editor (Windows Notepad is sufficient)
- Replace the text with what I said.
- Then save the file in the same folder where you opened it.
- Start LU again

LiveModeratorIs your intention to play locally or on one of the public servers?
LiveModeratorThat doesnt properly answer any of my questions. Please re-read my questions and answer them specifically, make sure to also read on exisiting topics and use the search function of the forum. The FAQ and Download sections are also providing a lot of resources and information, check them out.
LiveModeratorHey spacepal,
What have you tried so far? Did you read through this topic entirely? Did you follow the steps that were mentioned in this topic? What do you mean you dont know how to copy and paste the boot.cfg folder? Boot.cfg is a file, not a folder.
LiveModeratorA short explanation of how to setup the
boot.cfg
file is given in the Download section of this website. If you run the server locally you don’t need to change anything in theconfig.ini
In addition to that, please use the “Search” function on this website, it provides useful resources for the topics you are looking for.
LiveModeratorI will close this post due to violations of the rules that have been given out to you the last time you wanted to contact TimTech. The rules still apply: TimTech will read his emails daily and respond to it in a given time. Don’t expect everyone to respond to your requests within a 24 hour timeframe since we are not responsible for any support. Please STOP posting topics like this, just write him an email and BE PATIENT.
LiveModeratorXAMPP already includes the webstack, but you’ll need Visual Studio 2013 or Visual Studio 2015 to compile the server.

@JETMANTIM If you look closely the DNS entry forion.luniserver.com
has not been updated or populated yet, but you can reach the server using this link and adjusting your boot.cfg to use the IP86.173.88.216
for authentication. However, I still encourage you to not actively ask for support for the public servers (Server down?! – Questions include this by the way) because this website is not directly affiliated with the owners of those servers. Ask your questions on the according places and keep this website “clean”. Thank you! 🙂
