OS: Windows 10
Version of the LUNI server: 0.6.3
Problem: The server will not connect to the data base

Whenever I try to launch the server, no matter what version I try, it says it cannot connect to the data base. What should I do? I have tried disabling my antivirus and anything else that might interfere with it, but to no avail. What should I do?

Did you set the authserver to localhost in the boot.cfg file?

I dont see a boot.cfg in the server files, only in the client.

You have to set up a XAMPP database with luni.sql so it can connect to it.

So I need to download XAMPP, Visual Studio, Apache, and MySQL? Im very new to this, and I just wish there was a full tutorial on the latest version.

XAMPP already includes the webstack, but you’ll need Visual Studio 2013 or Visual Studio 2015 to compile the server.

Ok, so I installed XAMPP, which gave me MySQL a and Visual Studio. Still cant connect. I tried getting Apache separately, but I cant seem to get it to download, as the website is confusing. Does anyone have a step by step?

When it says to unload a database.sql file from an SQL folder, I dont see any SQL folder.

@Nawor3565 What did you search? Also I’d recommend just using 0.5.1. 0.6.3 is extremely bugged and messed up. It’s missing the SQL files if I recall. Most people get stuck on world loading. Feature wise 0.5.1 is the same except for launch pads working.

I just searched “Lego universe luni setup.”

Ok, I downloaded 0.5.1, but I still dont see a database.sql. Do I not need to do all that with 0.5?

0.5.1 doesn’t have a database. That’s basically what was implemented into 0.6, which set up the server to have more features added and allow people to create characters and such. (Note I say set up the server to have more. 0.6 doesn’t have these things.) 0.5.1 is just click and play basically. Download the Easy World changer to change worlds. You will have to log on and off to switch though.
