What server version are you using? If you are on Windows press SHIFT + Right-Click in the folder with the LUNIServer.exe file, select «Open Command Prompt here» (or similar, mine is in german), and type in «LUNIServer.exe» or whatever the server file is called. This should keep the console open, even when the prohram fails and exits immediately.
