Hello, Ion server admins! I am glad that you were able to set up the LUNI server 0.8 successfully. I have made the A record for ion.luniserver.com to your IP, so you can make
AUTHSERVERIP=0:ion.luniserver.com,and point new users to the website http://ion.luniserver.com/ion/ if you’d like. It’s definitely not required, but I’ve found that new users are more likely to remember a URL like ion.luniserver.com instead of an IPv4 address. I also added the Ion public server to the widget at the bottom of the page. It will reflect your server’s status in realtime. Lastly, I highly encourage you to adhere strictly to Xiphoseer’s guidelines, which you must follow as owners of a public LUNI server: https://xiphosia.wordpress.com/lu-public-server-requirements/@TimTech Thank you for doing this for us but there is only one problem we are not able to edit the post to include the new links.
The rules made by Xipho were kind of made for us seeing as what happened a few days ago.
P.S. can you fix this Bot filter it happens to me every time I try to post.
Uh yeah… I saw all that cursing when you got filtered. Ahem, anyway, your posts are whitelisted now, so you should not be filtered again. Also, I’ll edit your posts to update the links as you asked. (You can’t edit posts that are older than some days, unless you are a moderator, although that could change).

If you feel like joining the server quickly, you don’t need to register to make a unban appeal on the Ion forums.

Yes @cooldragonskull the server hosts both the LUNI server and the web interface, so they are both down.
