Is it possible to play with anyone else? Or just on a server with only you

I just stumbled on this whole thing tonight, so i’m kind of new to it all. I was just wondering, if I install everything, can I like actually play? I understand not a lot of content will be in, but can I still actually play Lego Universe? Even with other people? Or is it all down right now and we’re all suicidal.
Yes, you can play Lego Universe again. It will not include enemies/NPC’s/building/racing but you are able to walk around in all the worlds, give yourself items and play together with others. Sadly, there isn’t a public server available at the moment as hosting one requires knowledge about a variety of topics (MySQL, C++, hosting in general). You can however run a local server for yourself. If you do this, I’d recommend using LUNIServer v0.5.1 as it is by far the easiest to set up, although you won’t be able to give yourself items. This is the best LUNI can (and probably will) offer.
On another note, a project called DLU just started a closed alpha. They are much further advanced than LUNI is but you currently cannot join as it is a “closed” alpha. Check out their site for more information: http://darkflameuniverse.org. They’ll launch a closed beta at some point where you might be able to participate.
