    is there any way to make Announcements/make the server chat like Minecraft here’s an example

    Minecraft:
    Server: **Click Here to get free Diamonds**

    Lego Universe:
    System
    **To get a bonus go to nexus tower**

    or like change all the announcements on the News

    The news are in the client, we can’t do anything about that atm. Making the chat display arbitary messags is easily possible, we might have a system someday that is like: Chat::send(systemAddress addr, std::wstring message) and Chat::broadcast(std::wstring message)

    Couldn’t we use SC_[53-02-00-01]? It automatically treats a packet without the “Sender name” wstring as a System message, according to the documentation by humanoid/lcdr/pwjones.

    Yes @webman3, that would happen in the background. I’m just talking about the general idea of how easy sending Chat packets may become.

    Do you think we need a better development structure? It seems that some things could be so easy if we made some better way of coding the functions and stuff.

    @Timtech, sure.
    I would recommed (as well as some most other devs) to move to sourceforge and make one documentation (not luni.info, google docs or github wiki). This will definitely speed up progress.

    As long as you hope, you can.
